Vindicia appoints former Oracle Euro-expert as VP to spearhead expansion throughout Europe.

A cloud software company that specialises in billing, fraud screening and chargeback management has today opened its London office as base from which to continue its expansion into Europe.

Vindicia also announced it has appointed former Oracle senior sales director Adrian Jenkins as its vice president for Europe. Jenkins previously held a similar role as Oracle’s senior sales director for western continental Europe.

The company’s two main Software-as-a-Service products are Cashbox, which incorporates billing, chargeback and fraud screening, and ChargeGuard, which combines fraud screening and chargeback management to fight and manage fraud before and after a transaction. Vindicia claims it handles more than 250,000 transactions a day through its on-demand subscription billing solutions for digital merchants, in local languages and currencies and applying any required in-region sales taxes.

Vindicia plans to create in-region offices throughout Europe during the course of 2011.
