Whatever you’re thinking, you now have the opportunity to vote for the high achievers in cloud: the project leaders, the vendors, the providers and the personalities who are shaping the cloud industry in the UK.

Virtual Clouds, in conjunction with The Cloud Industry Forum and techUK (formerly Intellect) have set up the UK Cloud Awards to reward the best in cloud computing and promote the effectiveness of the technology.

There are  19 awards in total split into three overall sections: one for vendors, one for providers and one for customers all aimed at highlighting certain aspects of cloud: the most effective products, the most customer-friendly service, the most clear-sighted implementers.

The winners will be selected by a panel of judges, including The Cloud Industry Forum’s Andy Burton and Richard Sykes; techUK’s Ian Osborne, Virtual Clouds editor Max Cooter and IT Pro editor Maggie Holland.
