What iOS Health does

iOS Health allows you to track all your fitness metrics from one dashboard, including your activity level, heart rate, calories you’ve consumed (and burnt), blood sugar and cholesterol to name a few of the metrics measured.

The app also includes emergency contact information - so if you have a medical condition and something happens to you, the emergency services will be able to contact your next of kin and treat you accordingly.

With hundreds of integrations with third party apps, it really is the one-stop-shop for everything health and fitness-related, but such a fully-featured function can be confusing.
